I refuse to participate in, or lend credibility to, a farce.

Nope.

Just a quiet time of reflection for me.

Time to reassess the future, rewrite my retirement plans. Fill in the blanks to many What If questions I need to review.

Time now to prepare for bad storms ahead. Storms on most all fronts in life.

We were on such a great path that was greatly improving everyone’s life, then the carpet was pulled from underneath all of us,

Finally, disadvantaged people were gaining hope that better days ahead maybe were obtainable after all. People who’d never had a worthwhile job in their life were finding their way out of poverty, and they were living their new found self confidence and feelings of purpose and acceptance.

We liked our New America, and we were feeling proud and confident in ourselves, and our American pride was riding high.

The only positive thing I can think to add is that a brand new life lesson is soon to present itself to young Americans. We are going to be walking the path of communism now, and through the pains of Life University, young adults are going to come to realize that these communistic principles given to them by the university was nothing but a lie full of pain and remorse.

Now they are going to get to live their political dreams, and all those fantasy good things that are tightly wrapped in the lie of a communistic state.

If one day several generations from now they are able to throw off these chains of oppression, I feel confident this country will come back even stronger than its ever been, but in all honesty I doubt that will ever be again.

Sadly I won’t be here to see it, but in the meanwhile I will certainly be here to suffer it for awhile with many others.

This is not the way I visualized things winding down.

I know that many others my age feel the same.

23 years military service, a second career created from the sweat of my forehead, and blistered hands.

Looking forward to departing this place, but for now I still have family members relying on me still.

God, grant me the strength and wisdom to see it all through..

But that already happened in 2000, you remember .... the leader that signed the Patriot Act that took away all your rights, then created DHS and ramped up TSA's power, FEMA's power, then let Wall St run hog wild while they looted everyone's 401k and millions lost everything including their homes.

I see no point in watching such things, nor do I see it as any kind of lie. It's just a show, and who cares? Nothing changes regardless of who's in control, no matter how loudly the talking heads on tv or youtube bark about this or that meaningless stupid thing. Who cares! Stop being drawn in by their nonsense and just live your life as it is in front of you, not in some abstract other place that doesn't actually affect you at all.

Well tomorrow my two daughters and their husbands along with my wife are all meeting at my house to watch the inauguration.

On fear of vomiting or dying of disgust I will lock myself in my computer room and hope to god they keep the sound turned down.

They all hate President Trump and when I ask why they give the cliche answers of the MSM.

It is a sad day as they will very soon find out, They have no idea what they are in for.

It is truly time to say ... Farewell America you were the shining light of the world for four glorious years and I will truly miss you. I very much doubt we will see you again.
