All other things being equal, of course, I prefer blondes. Not sure why. Perhaps for the same reason some women prefer their men to be "tall, dark and handsome."

IMHO, blonde hair and light features make a woman look younger, and youth often equals physically attractive and fertile. In contrast (literally), dark hair and features make a man look older, wiser, etc. I'm in my late 30s, tall, dark, graying temples, and cannot COUNT the number of come-ons I've had from younger women, who would not TALK to me if I were 10 years younger.

As someone who is married to a medical doctor that has told me EVERYTHING that goes on in the hospital she works at:

1) The virus is real and it isn't the flu. Even in the WORST flu outbreaks, the number of people in the ICU with viral pneumonia didn't even come close to what they have seen with this.

2) The hospitals did come very close to being overwhelmed. They had to cut elective surgeries which is the bread and butter of any hospital. They DO NOT do this unless there is no alternative. They lose shitloads of revenue. Contrary to popular belief, most hospitals struggle to keep the lights on in good times.

3) While the virus is a nasty one, it is no where near as deadly as the media and government say it is for the masses. Sadly though, if you are unfortunate enough to end up in the ICU, your chances of survival are a coin flip, sometimes less. Over 60% die if they end up there.

4) Most states have reduced the cycles for PCR testing a long time ago. So the numbers you see today are more close to reality than they were early in the pandemic.
