It was good. I worked on a few projects and picked up a bottle of premixed margaritas. Had a few of those and pittered around in my shed with the music on. Very relaxing.

I missed you tonight CG.

And of course I have something cool to share.

This is the third time that a 'time related slip' has been recorded by medical electronics in the past five weeks for me.

I'll share pics when I know you're online.

I hope you are well today.

Re: DOOM BREAK: Let's have a good ole fashioned coffee klatch!
Well I wasn't trying to be mysterious, but I've no explanation for what has happened the past six weeks and it may not mean much to someone unfamiliar with it.

I have diabetes. I use a CGM [Continuous Glucose Monitor] which attaches to my arm so I don't need to use test strips to test my blood numerous times during the day. Rather it measures my blood glucose every sixty seconds, has an eight-hour memory buffer to hold the readings, and sends its findings to my phone and a non-Internet connected dedicated reader

CGM device

CGM2

What's inside

CGM3

I've used them for a year now and one thing that is by design is that when you 'attach' one it takes one hour for the probe in my arm to fully stabilize itself and accurately send my blood glucose reading to my phone or its dedicated reader. One sensor will operate for fourteen days.

Well four weeks ago I put a new sensor on and 'started it' by pairing it with its reader and my phone.

'Starting it' is an understatement--a Medieval Spring Loaded Torture Device 'fires' it into your arm to get the needle probe through your skin and a super-strong adhesive holds it in place for two weeks.

CGM1

An hour later I read it with both the reader and my phone and it was fine, glucose in the 70's.

Then when I next went to read it, I got a message on my phone that said I need to wait another four hours before the sensor would be ready. But it had already started recording medical data and I had read it

I figured maybe the sensor was bad but I waited the four hours and it worked for the next two weeks.

Now maybe it was a bad sensor. Okay so great test of that theory as I had run out of that production run lot of them and a new three month supply was waiting in the cabinet having been delivered by FedEx.

So when almost two weeks had passed my phone and the reader were doing a countdown to when I needed to put a new sensor on.

Then the same thing happened! I had the one hour wait, read my blood glucose, then when I went to read it again it said I still had three hours and thirty-two minutes until the hour was up and the sensor could be used.

Okay this is a new lot of sensors and two different NFC devices, my phone and the reader both say the exact same wait time when I check them and even rescan the sensor with them.

Okay twice is just a coincidence, right?

So I put a new one on last night, wait the hour, my phone beeps to say the new sensor is ready, I read it and get the following message.

https://imgur.com/dXqiqVV

Yet it was already on me and had been paired to both my phone and its reader--that pairing is what tells the sensor it is attached and starts its CPU counting down one hour so the measurement has stabilized before I may read it.

And when I woke up I see this when I read it--it really was eight hours behind me in time. I was wearing it the entire eight hours but its like the sensor was 'stuck in stasis' for those eight hours and then began the one hour wait to start working.

I sure don't have an answer and I know it will now work flawlessly for the next two weeks.

https://imgur.com/eBjxZYO

Maybe I'm reading too much into it but when twenty six of these work identically and the last three are all off in the same fashion but for different times and are not the same device lot it makes me wonder.

I have another story I've wished to share for about two years that I need to write down. I shocked a coworker by telling her she is a direct blood relative of Cleopatra.

And by anecdotal evidence I am correct.

That all got my attention because over a year ago when CG's electrical box began humming and buzzing I experienced the same two minutes five times in a period of about twenty minutes and we discussed it.

When I got to work that day the elevator doors were a different color than they were when I went home the day before and yet they had not been repainted, the different color paint was years old.

I believe that was a jump to a different timeline.

Everything was the 'same', only with subtle differences.

I've never thought that; I could still check my glucose with a finger stick meter and it read fine.

Much increased poltergeist activity at home the past few weeks after going months with none though.

A stack of magazines just launched itself up four feet over a table to land on the floor in the den.

As I was in the kitchen turning over onion rings and sausage in the oven a few minutes ago, the mop head minus it's handle I had leaning in the corner of the bathroom down the hallway just handed in the dining room. Something detached it and threw it.

This is our normal home life here. I am unaffected by it but it really unnerves Mrs. when she hears her name called from the woods as she arrives home at night.

For me it is all I have known since I was a child so I remain unsurprised by it.

One time back in 2007 my guy and I experienced a shift and/or glitch. We lost time while biking home. We also stood on the front porch and watched everything happening in slow motion for about a minute....the trees moving in the breeze in slow motion, the cars going down the road in slow motion. That was trippy. No drugs or alcohol involved.

At the same time, a friend of mine about an hour away had a glitch happen. A program she had been watching, started all over again, and another friend four States away who was driving, got out of his car to get back in it, to have the same radio program playing.

Heh, my whole time in Wisconsin was off the hook weird....damned

As for my friend at work; she has linen-white skin and pure black hair.

One day as we were fixing our respective breakfasts in the breakroom kitchen on our floor at our office [she was prepping oatmeal for the microwave oven, while I was toaster ovening tater tots and egg, sausage, and cheese burritos] I stated as much as asked her "You're a Ptolemy, aren't you?"

She just locked at me puzzled so I continued "Where did your grand parents or great grand parents come from?"

She replied "An island South of Greece."

So I replied "Their Island was Chipre, you know it as Cyprus.

The Ptolemaic Kingdom, which overtook Egypt and the Southeastern Mediterranean originated there. Cleopatra was one of the Ptolemies, the wife of Marc Antony, the one overthrown by Octavian Augustus. You and she are direct blood relatives."

Needless to say her jaw dropped when she said her Great Grand Parents came here from Cyprus. Duh, I already knew it! chuckle

You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete. -Buckminster Fuller

I used to have a glitch every time I drove through Utah. It would only take a couple hours to go through Montana and Idaho, then I'd get to Utah and it seemed like it took all day. every time

'Freaking took me three days!!

Duh, I already knew it! chuckle

^That^ is my normal. I think it took me two decades to figure out most others do not see people's pasts or the events of antiquity, 'just can't see for some reason.

Nice talent!....hf

Right after I woke up I was in FL. I was at the shopping mall and saw a kiosk for a psychic reader. I thought 'Why not?" and gave him the $10 for the reading. I was not a happy camper at the time, so I was hoping for something uplifting.

This guy told me I don't think like others think, and then told me my brian's like a radio receiver, that I can hear messages from the other side.

I was all like.....blinkblinkblink

Heh, it took awhile before the uplifting part came about....charlie

I don't think of it as "talent", it's just this body didn't come with a manual so it's taking mw decades to figure out how it operates.

I’d be mortified if you could see my past lol

We all have things in our pasts we are not proud of; we did what we must at the time.

And if I forgot... Good morning everyone. hi
Until your military service has required you neutralize enemy combatants and invaders in the defense of your country,
don't presume to tell us that have defended you that you don't support every shot we fired to eliminate that enemy.
