History shows that the rich and connected were still around when Russia and China switched to communism. The only wealth that were redistributed was the wealth of the 99% and vast amounts of that wealth flowed into the 1%'s bank accounts and the rest was thrown like chicken feed to the 99%.

The 99% were waiting in bread lines and soup lines to try and get food to live on while the 1% had no problem skipping the line.
