Above poster is right: conventional mags are generally much more reliable than drum mags (also less expensive). Maybe get a bunch of 10-rd mags for HD + a drum or two for the range/fun shooting? What kind of shotgun did you get?

20 but it will take twice as long to reload an empty magazine.

Make sure you have flechette and HE loads, One HE round for every four flecheete rounds. Get some incendiary loads too.

You'll regret wasting ur money on drums, some of the rifle drums work great, almost all 12g drums suck,even with fine tuning, let alone hampering your abilities

Mags are best...

Auto shotguns are nice, but you can't get the true effect of a Mossberg Mariner loading in a shell. Everyone knows what it sounds like and it drives fear in an attacker...
