Why does Life suck so bad? It is not "fun", there is no "joy", and it appears Jesus has forgotten us

The last thing Jesus has done is forgotten us. In fact, he's getting New Jerusalem ready right now.

I very highly suggest that you immediately read Revelation, because this shit show is about to get a whole lot worse before Jesus comes back.

If you aren't spiritually ready what's going on right now, you are going to end up being one of the lost Christians when things get truly bad.

You need to be so ready that you will kneel to have your head lopped off by idiot despots, rather than denounce Christ. Because that's coming.

Life sucks for many for a few reasons:

1) They look to politicians who HATE GOD/JESUS and don't have any morals and they rally around such devils. Republican's somehow think their guys (Nixon, Ford,Reagan, Bush, Trump) are the exception and Democrats somehow think their guys (JFK, LBJ, Carter, Clinton, Obama) are the exception. You get your eyes off God and think men will make life better for you. Reality is even in the best of times...good people will end up neglecting you or even stab you in the back.

2) People forgot the Sabbath day is always Saturday and they don't remember the sabbath day or why God told us to keep it holy. Even on your [sundays] you wash your car, go shopping, watch football, go camping, mow your lawn and do anything but REST and Worship God. So even if you thought Sunday was the sabbath day....you all don't keep God's day holy at all.

3) People go to churches that fleece them just like cancer doctors and used car salesmen and timeshare salesman. And they don't go to church to get God but to be told how good they are and how to Prosper

4) People are racists and look down on the poor and don't do anything to help people and many knock such people down further.

5) People are perverts who don't want to be responsible and get married before having sex and then being faithful to their spouses and being kind in affection and sex within marriage.

6) People are greedy and are not satisfied or appreciate the things they do have. And they absolutely won't give help to someone who can barely help themselves.

7) People are pansy wimps who keep up a mantra "Judge not lest you be judged" but they do that because they are guilty of violating God's laws on a regular basis.

There are others....but these are some main reasons

Lovely story and excellent analogy. Jesus suffered far more than any of us here have. I sometimes need to remind myself of that when I get discouraged, which is pretty often these days after the election. I try to focus on the fact that the simplest things in life are full of such beauty and truth. Doing that helps.

You have to find joy in things that aren’t materialistic. And material things are on loan from God anyway. Life is so beautiful. Be independent, don’t let anyone control you. There’s still plenty of us light warriors walking the earth but you have to find us - it seems we are few and far between these days.
