Wondering about a company closing with 200 employees during covid.
OK, I have a question and would like some opinions.

A company in Texas has divisions in many states but their home state in Wisconsin.

With over 300 employees in Texas, they have been working manufacturing (essential work) all along from day one through out the Covid issue.

They are Union in Wisconsin but not in Texas.

All of a sudden their upper management changed to a younger man that doesn't understand that our warm weather is best for manufacturing when it involves paint and glue, he's a doofus. Paints and Glues don't dry properly in Wisconsin weather.

Yet.... He made the company decision to close one of the Texas divisions, with no regard to anything except bottom line or Union issues or who knows whet ever.

I can't think like an upper management when it comes to a huge business very well or I'd own one myself.

Anyway the company is playing all sweet and nice, bring in resume help, job fair, giving 4 weeks extended pay.
To me they look like they are super trying no to get sued.

So, I guess my question is:
With so many people getting laid off for no good reason given other than shutting down, they are putting many families in hardship especially during this Covid situation and jobs are tough to land.
Can the employees create a class action lawsuit.

Yes, I know all that.

What I was wondering was if a class action suit be filed if enough employees got together.

Using the Ukraine flag so maybe you don't know about class actions?

Dude, working for a living is highly overrated. You're busting your balls for no reason.

Just start a little business of your own and hire smurfs to run and work it for you. Everybody who is anybody is do'n it. Then you can go bugout to your beautifully landscaped rural survival compound and kick back, relax, and watch the shitstorm coming on your large screen teevee. It's gonna be awesome.

You'll be totally safe and protected from this plandemic population reduction effort that's obviously underway when you bugout too. Obviously, the smart, strong, and brave will survive. So be those 3 things.

Typical mindset of the worker bee class.

You want to do right for yourself? Then break away from the pack rats. Throw off your leash. Stop thinking like an "employee."

I've always done a LOT better for myself being the boss of me. Same with everyone else I know that's done so.

Grow a pair. Control your own destiny.
