But this particular mRNA vaccine, the only function we know of is to make proteins that look like Covid spike proteins. Now I personally wouldn't want those running all over my body and risking an immune overreaction.

The shot is not an "operating system" that can then be reprogrammed. To do that they could give another shot, using a different mRNA, to do whatever that other thing is. Taking this vaccine does not turn your body into a computer that they can program. This is my understanding. Someone speak up if I am wrong.
