Re: important Dental question
the solution is simple (effect is debatable) simply brush before you go to sleep and not at 10 pm

Yes. I ruined my molars by having late night snacks and

not brushing. I lost one but the others are hanging on.

I have 1 on each side on the top that have issues.

Trust me, when my dentist saw me after years and

years of not having any insurance, he told me the truth

of what I had been doing without knowing me for years.

Thing's he said:

You're a milk drinker---yes.

You drink at night---yes.

You consume ice cream---yes.

At night too---yes.

He said 'okay then, you didn't brush after this and now

you have issues'. I totally do not do that anymore.

You have a certain amount of time to brush your teeth

after eating or drinking anything that has sugar

in it. I think it's like 2 hours.

After that time, you're damaging the gums!

Gums get major issues not brushing at night.

Take care of them while you can. It's easier

than the alternative. Also, get Oral-B electric

tooth brush. The spinning round heads are awesome

at cleaning thoroughly. Many do not because of

the expense. But it's way better than regular tooth

brushes. Also floss after every meal no matter what.

And gargle with Listerine after brushing in the morning

and at night. You will hang on to them for a very

long time if you follow this. I wish I did when I

was younger...
Living has taught me one thing; nothing is certain...except salvation through Jesus Christ!

Store your toothbrush in hydrogen peroxide(3% H2O2).

Swill with H2O2 before brushing your teeth. Some people advocate H2O2 and baking soda. That might be helpful.

Bacteria don't survive H2O2. Of course, more will grow overnight, but you're still ahead of the game.

If you live long enough, all your teeth will fail.

Re: important Dental question
At least swish with water after eating anything if you can’t brush right away.

Re: important Dental question
Just brush the ones you want to keep. The rest, don’t worry about.
