SallyValentine User ID: 79601558 United States 02/06/2021 07:03 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | So I’m thinking about upgrading my life. I graduated many years ago with my Undergraduate Degree from a great school. Wound up in a decent job but I feel stuck in life. I paid off my Student Loans and I live an ok life. Wife left me last year and getting tired of my job and life. I put in a ton of work and at first I got several promotions then things stopped. I feel stuck. Should I go get my MBA? I’m 37 with no kids, and no wife. The starting salaries look impressive for MBAs and I could get into a great program as I graduated with a 4.0 in my UG degree. Quoting: NeoWolf What do you REALLY want to do with your time? If you could do anything you wanted, what would you do? |

Quoting: NeoWolf I did one. Cost me $60,000. Took me 15 years to pay off. During the payoff I started a business that I later sold for $250,000 and made $2 million from before selling out. Could I have created that business without the mba? Possibly. But it helped. More education puts you in a different mental state and gives you confidence. But right now might not a good time. I’d think on it for another year. We are in crazy times. The proposed student loan debt forgiveness may not materialize or it may not be for republicans, whites, christians, or for recent debts. Its a crap shoot. |

Don't listen to she shills, they are just showing their jealous side. Quoting: CoffeeDoom Go for it! You have nothing or no one holding you back. Nothing is holding me back, I want to enjoy a good life. Go for it OP! It is NEVER to late to go for whatever you want and do not let anyone tell you otherwise! |

My daughter was in college at the time and we would proof read each other's papers. Last Edited by ElleMira on 02/06/2021 07:05 PM |

With that sort of limited thinking, especially regarding your own potential, you'll only stay stuck. You should go for it! Best wishes to you! No fux given. Find something you are GOOD at, love, and conquer it. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78986815 This^^^ enjoy your youth. Don't chain yourself to school and a career. You already did that and you feel stuck, so why would doing more of the same get you unstuck? Sell everything, go where the wind takes you, live for more than working at a job and paying the bills. The world is waiting for you. Don't feed the machine. Unless it makes you happy, i guess. |
