Is 37 too old to go get my MBA?

No, it's a little late, but if you do an accelerated program in like 1.5 years, you will be in good shape.

Went to JHU and got my MS when I was 45

I did one. Cost me $60,000. Took me 15 years to pay off. During the payoff I started a business that I later sold for $250,000 and made $2 million from before selling out. Could I have created that business without the mba? Possibly. But it helped. More education puts you in a different mental state and gives you confidence. But right now might not a good time. I’d think on it for another year. We are in crazy times. The proposed student loan debt forgiveness may not materialize or it may not be for republicans, whites, christians, or for recent debts. Its a crap shoot.

No, it's never too late. I finished my MA at the age of 38. My daughter was in college at the time and we would proof read each other's papers.

MBAs take what, two years? So you’ll be 39-40. Age of retirement is late 60s... you’ll have 20 years working in a job that pays very well.

I did it at 37. Got into the Columbia Executive MBA program. Really upgraded my life. Made a ton of new friends, new career. Incredible experience. Highly recommend you do it. I'm 45 now. 37 is young.

1 or 2 years will be nothing at you age, learn something you like and you will not go wrong.

The economy is changing there will be lots of new types of postions opening up if you have the right skills

My step dad is 40, he got his MBA when he was 37. It’s never too late.

I just got my Bachelors at 45. Not only did it open up some opportunities but the self-esteem from an accomplishment is awesome

start your own business, get out of the cubicle

This^^^ enjoy your youth. Don't chain yourself to school and a career. You already did that and you feel stuck, so why would doing more of the same get you unstuck?

Sell everything, go where the wind takes you, live for more than working at a job and paying the bills.
