You're the one that needs to try harder to prove that God doesn't exist. I'll give you a hint here..., you can't.

"God did it" or "god does it", its all claims. But on the same line, god did cancer, god did covid, but you will claim that's men made or men's fault/punishment.

I know its frustrating seeing a group of atheist doing much more good than your god ever did. Wanna believe it? Fine. Don't want to? Fine too. We deal with a few fanatics around here too trying to stop us from doing it, including poisoning the minds of some of our patreons(people whom donate stuff, like food or clothes) saying that we "work for the devil because we are atheists". No problem, we squeeze a little and pay it from our own pockets.

And BTW, do I feel a slight envy on you? I mean, we are really doing, by our own will to do, what you are commanded to do and you don't. In this way, we are more christian than you are. The burden of proof is on the positive claim. You say that god exists, you have to prove it. I say I don't believe god exists, because there's no sufficient evidence to warrant belief.

And logically, its impossible to prove that something DOES NOT exist. Like, can you prove that pixies don't exist?

Could it possibly be you're trying to fill a void by all your good deeds? I think so or you wouldn't be bringing them up. Lots of people that reject Jesus do this and never realize the void they feel is because they have denied the truth.

I don't have to prove anything to you. My burden to you (along with other Christians who contribute to this thread) is the same as it is to the other several thousand people who have viewed this thread. Which is to sound the alarm, give warning and preach the good news of your salvation.

You are responsible for the fate of your own soul to Jesus Christ who created you, that's way above my pay scale.

Thanks and interesting response. However it would seem to reason that with all the people and not to mention the scholars that have picked the Bible apart word by word would have come to some of the same conclusions as you.

No one has ever been able prove that the Bible contradicts itself. The ones that think they have are shown that they have misinterpreted something.

It sounds like to me that you were unfortunate enough to become involved in a legalistic church in which I don't believe is healthy. I believe that excepting Jesus is a very freeing event as I have experienced.

First, freedom in Christ is seen in contrast to the bondage of sin. Romans 6:20-23 says, "For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness. But what fruit were you getting at that time from the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death. But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the fruit you get leads to sanctification and its end, eternal life. For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." In other words, sin enslaves people for spiritual death and eternity apart from God. Knowing Christ provides freedom from the control of sin and eternal life with Him.

Second, freedom in Christ is seen as the only true form of freedom, because it provides lasting freedom beyond this life. John 8:36 notes, "If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." We now know the truth that sets us free as believers (John 8:32).

You ask why I have such strong faith?
In 2000 I was diagnosed with a fatal disease. I was told if I did nothing I would probably live until 2007-08.
I had been a Christian for 15 yrs at that point.
Anyway after a couple of years I was getting worse and decided to try treatment. After a yr of that I was told my illness came back. The docs wanted me to do another round of chemo. It about killed me the first time so I was extremely distraught. I got on my face before the Lord and pleaded with Him to take me home rather than face that again. After a few days of fervent prayer by me and others I was sitting in my office at work when I heard out of the blue "You Are Healed" I'm like wtf?
Then I heard it again, "You Are Healed In My Name".

I promptly thanked Jesus and let it sink in for awhile.
I knew through faith that Lord had granted my request and my next visit to the doc I informed him. He just smiled and told me that that was next to impossible. He drew my blood and told me he would let me know the results. A few days later he called and told me that I no longer showed any signs of being sick. He told me he didn't know why but was sure in a few weeks the test would be positive.

He kept assuring me that this just doesn't go away and that this will resurface in the near future.
The docs still have no idea how this happened 16 yrs later and I'm healthy as a horse. I've researched this out and apparently this same scenario has only been documented 18 times in the whole world. Once you've personally witnessed something like this there is no more second guessing.
I hope you truly consider this because it doesn't get anymore real than that!

As I said previously the fate of your soul is between you and the Lord and weather you like it or not you will have to answer to Him one day. The two are separate, but I believe closely related events. It should be obvious to anyone not walking around in a coma that our governments hate Christianity, and that they intend to do away with us when the time is right.

I'd just like to mention Jude, during the siege of Montségur, the last Cathar stronghold, as the Perfecti (holy men and women) were finally disbanded and led into the flames, several from the number of mercenaries, tasked to bring about the downfall of Catharism in the Languedoc once and for all, converted themselves to the faith and willingly went into the fire with their hostages.

Well it sure sounds to me like you had better get one pronto. Opticians are also trained to look for stigmatism (cloudy eyes) and other problems. Often if they are caught early they can either be cured or greatly improved. In the meantime try to avoid LED lights, florescent lights are much better on your eyes. Contact lenses can also cause problems, glasses are the way to go.

I'm sorry but reincarnation, dualism and Gnosticism, are all false doctrines as well as time wasters. The Rapture can happen at any moment and we have to concentrate on the salvation of souls with the simple gospel message.

Perhaps I was exaggerating slightly when I said I was going blind and I've worn glasses for many years but I'm straining my eyes a lot, so it must be deteriorating further. I will book an eye test soon.
