What the fuck is wrong with Americans and riding a motorbike... you're all fucking shit at it. NEVER use your back brake... EVER! when 90+% of the weight of your bike is at the front of your bike under heavy braking... why are you bothering with that 10%??? It's an absolute fucking mystery to me...

Maybe electric bikes like that don't have a natural slow down like compression braking to help. That would be a real flaw.

It was a bit of a cheap dig... BUT... 90% of all motorcycle crash videos on YouTube are from the US... Seems you don't need to pass a motorcycle test in the US in most/all states, once you have a car licence it seems to entitle you to buy any bike you want... I think this is where the problem creeps in... no training!

In the UK the motorcycle training is fucking draconian BUT... you learn a lot. There is one shortcut to this... but normally the earliest age you can buy a 1000cc bike in the UK is at 25, but no established biker friend would ever let you... build your way up from a 600cc bike is the mantra here. 1000cc out of the box either makes you a shit rider or you end up dead.

Agreed and a good reason to put a rear brake on electric bikes. Normally they use the regenerative braking to slow the rear wheel, however any rider knows that you need to apply both brakes to have full control of the bike. It is like taking the rudder from an aircraft and relying on ailerons for roll and yaw.
