He could have stopped it before 6 Jan but kept insisting that the election was stolen and the result was 5 people died including one police officer. Well we know 6 GOP Senators have a spine, which is actually MORE than I would have suspected from that Virtually Spineless group of narcissists, who to virtually a one among the GOP in the House would have been HUGE Hitler supporters if they were in the Reichstag in the 1930's.

There are a few others who probably also have a spine ... Rand Paul who opposes it on a legitimate intellectual basis as an example, but those are probably no more in number than the 6 who voted that the trial could proceed.

Politicians at the level of the US Congress are typically people with virtually no morals who will blow in whatever way they calculate the wind is blowing ... or just crazy types who fit the craziness bias of their particular district.
