I know there's another thread but I think it would be better to use the story as a vehicle to pose the question:

Do you agree that the demonization/dehumanization of Conservatives is similar to the campaign that preceded the extermination of the small hat-wearing people of that era?

Are they getting ready to do the same thing, is that why they are so sensitive to her assertion?
