i wasn't even in high school when i got turned on to chick correa. my drum teacher turned me on to the drummers playing with him. gadd and weckl. My Spanish Heart and the first Elelktric Band albums are easily on the list of albums i've listened to the most in my life. i'm quite sad hearing about mr. correa, a major part of my musical upbringing.
