I knew work people in Seattle cuz i handnt been there long , work transfer. Last place id want to be is the puget sound in SHTF. They can lock up all ways out of that homeless heroin junky city.

here is my tip - you may only have time to grab a bag , you may have more time but always keep a backpack in your vehicle. in no particular order, i use a fairly small swiss army school waterproof backpack black.

1. 3 ways to make fire. Matches, Lighter 3x, Flint, a Knife, 2 compasses.

2. 2 ways to make potable water and a canteen, stainless cup, small utinsels. ***Chlorine tablets and camping water filter.

3 couple pairs socks, tshirts, poncho

4. Hygeine kit/ first aid kit / pen /paper

5. duct tape, rip cord, small screw driver kit, AAbatteries
sweing kit

6. emergency space blanket (its in a small square pack little bigger than a deck of cards.)

7. have some money in there, small bills 50x 1s, 10x 5s, 10x 20s, 1x 50. maybe a small about of silver bullion. Small bills in SHTF, if you need something worth a few bucks and all you got is a $20 bill not good, but if you need somethng worth $20 , you can always say you only got $9 on you maybe $10 and snake it cheap.

I have some rockwear climbing pants, and soloman hiking shoes. good thermal underwares and shirt for weather.

also in my jeep is a emergency water distiller all i require is 2 cooking pots and a water source. i also have coleman camping stove 1 burner uses butane cans. I keep a Rand Mcnally Atlas in my jeep, thats right an Atlas 7 bucks at used book store. The Analog GPS.

Put everything neatly in good ziplock freezer bags and enure it stays dry.
