I think I have the winter blues. I saw the sun this afternoon and became sad. Last night, I got killed so many times by that dragon, I finally shot it out of the sky with a cheat arrow. That’s not really my style. Then I decided to change my avatar to my digital heartthrob. Lol! Been on YouTube all day watching Adventure Time music videos..... I feel.... blue. I may change it 15 more times before I brighten up!
This has been the longest winter I’ve been through in two decades. :(
Almost there... Depending on where you're at. One week left in f'n Feb.
I was a snow lover once upon a time. Now not so much :/
I know, I am looking at my seeds and potting soil. 2 months before I can put anything in the ground. Sigh....
I'll be finding the first eggs of the year shoon. Couple weeks at most.
Are those your baby chicks?
Yeah but they're turkeys. From last spring.
Soon to be more in a couple months.
They are so so cute!
Yeah I was grumbling back then about how much of a pain in the ass it was dealing with them. They require a lot more attention than chicks the first few days after hatching. Have to make sure each one learns how to eat and drink.
Wasn't long before I missed the experience LoL looking forward to doing it again this spring. Last year was the first time for me.
I raised four wild baby turkeys two years ago... their diet was hard boiled eggs... they grew up and left.
Awww happy and
They were so cute and I made diapers out of baby socks... I’m so glad they were able to go back to the wild.
too bad you dont have pics of that turkey's diapers. OMGOT
I think a have a video of one of them wearing a diaper let me look for it ... when my husband brought them home they were like a day old... the first 5 nights they slept with me, they liked to hide in my long curly hair. Poor babies they used to cry at night, maybe cuz they were cold that’s why I took them to my bed. I showered them with organic shampoo, oh my, their feathers used to smell so nice.
your poor hubby having to sleep with turkey feathers
Nah... we sleep in separate rooms.
I love having my own room. The secret maybe, to a long marriage
Awww...
There is a lot to be said for this. Before Mr Foss got his cpap, we had separate rooms. It was my own little kingdom! I could make as much noise as I wanted. Play VG’s in bed until all hours and decorate it exactly the way I wanted. It was great!
I’m so used to sleep alone now ... my king size bed just for me and I sleep whenever and however I want.
I
Yeah, it has an old world feel to it when the man comes to his lady’s room to “ bid her goodnight”. Dang LittleMe! I’m jelly!!! :)
