Have ridden the excellent Russian metro hundreds of times. It's safe, clean, efficient and inexpensive. I lived in Russia a year and I still miss it. Moscow is absolutely gorgeous, don't let anyone fool you. Putin has improved the country dramatically during his tenure. Yes outside the big cities are poorer regions but have you been to the backwaters of the USA, Germany, or Italy? Same thing... |
