Every single atheist I’ve ever talked to concedes that society dictates what is truly right or wrong(cause you know, god is a big hoax supposedly). Thus one society can determine rape is wrong, another can determine rape as right. Neither are immoral according to our atheist friends. The mental hurdles they must of taken to come to such a conclusion is something to behold honestly.

And no I am not a cultural relativist either. I don’t respect Islam with regards to their treatment of women, for instance. There are many atheists who embrace Christian principles over any other set of principles, but they are still taking the part that has to do with philosophy and not religious belief itself.

If you can choose right and wrong based on your own preferences so can anyone else.

If you believe morality is objective then it becomes a standard of right and wrong to be applied universally, and since no one person can create their morality without it being subjective it can only come from GOD.

One could only hope that the forces of society unite in shaming and punishing actions that are detrimental to the social contract. Why in declining belief of an unproven claim of the supernatural, are you immoral? Being an atheist is neither moral or immoral. I also don't believe in Santa, or the monkey God or Zeus or Venus. Lots of claims I don't believe. I don't say there are no gods, just never had solid evidence.I also don't believers of god(s) makes them moral or immoral. But they have followers who are both but that is absent their beliefs.

Well not a hoax any more than of the gods of any culture. Gods were created to explain what they didn't understand. For example, how did we get here? The most correct answer is we don't know. God made me, aliens populated earth or material arrived on earth and started the chain reaction that created life. Three of the many guesses how it happened. God is just another unproven claim. However, gods do add in one element that weakens the claim. Its all supernatural and there is not a single documented supernatural event. Aliens could exist. Space travel is not supernatural. We do it. So aliens visiting earth has a much more solid possibility than a god. However, aliens are also a claim I pass on as its unproven.

Aliens cannot be GOD. Aliens would had to have also been created at some point.

I can state confidently that my morality is much better than Bible-god’s morality.
