PoliceYourOwn User ID: 73368822 United States 02/15/2021 05:09 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I know you mean well but rest assured that the "smart device" load is tiny.. and I mean tiny compared to all the heat pumps and conventional heaters that will come on. A smart device draws far less than 50 watts, A typical central heat unit say a three ton will draw 20,000 watts plus. For the guys on the line trying to bring up circuits after repairs this issue is not a thing at all. " I've got the hot stick and am about to throw the switch to energize a 56kv circuit we have been working on for hours. On the list of things going through my mind that could cause this thing to pop back and burn up some more transformers/lines... smart devices are nowhere on that list." PoliceYourOwn |

Um noooo.... smart devices are set to turn on, that means all TVS and gadgets hooked up to smart outlets automatically come on, not just the smart devices themselves. I been in tech for 30 years man. |
