Just like a while back the water dept replaced all the old meter with new efficient ones... and checked out if we had old time water wells or pumps in our basement. If we did, they poured cement down them.

If I have a fire going in our little stove, I use that energy to also heat up coffee or tea, soup or cook whatever so its actually using less carbon that way.
