BREAKING NEWS: First pictures from “Mars” are in. Get a load of this.

Nasa claims those photos come from the collision avoidance system a d that there is dust on the lense. Apparently the high res images will be posted at some point. I'll guess they'll still be color filtered though, as they don't want anyone knowing the sky is actually a bit blue due to a more robust atmosphere than they'll admit go because it's an acknowledged sign of life for the masses.

Mars is flat

The photographic images from the 1976 Viking lander on Mars was intentionally tinged with a red filter by NASA to make it look like an inhospitable, alien world. They admitted this.

You’ll notice that in photos from more recent Mars landers, the sky is in fact a pale blue, and the only red is the dirt.

Do you guys realise how far away mars is? Do you know how long it takes to beam a bit of lite from a satellite there to a satellite here? I don't. So i wager that you don't either.

The fact that they were able to get that image after only a few minutes is fucking astounding to me. It still has a lens cap on. I imagine it's low res so that the data packet they send is tiny.

They literally have go pro's strapped to the thing looking at every angle so give them a few days to send the data. Shit isn't instantaneous like you all seem to demand in this day and age. Unbelievable.
