Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78572710 I never saw it before. Bobby was completely normal despite what people claim. He never allowed people to control him or what he said and that upset others. I would have to disagree with that. Despite his brilliance, he is a sad figure to me. His mental illness clouded his thinking until it consumed him. Living homeless on the streets of California after becoming world chess champion, giving all his money to religious groups who had convinced him that doomsday was around the corner, fighting everybody till the bitter end. He had the world on a string and lost it all because of mental illness. Last Edited by Indrid_Cold on 02/26/2021 07:39 PM |

Usually i prefer a bit slower game, but lately I've been playing 2 1 bullet, because you get to play a lot of games and there are fewer cheaters -- even i wouldn't recommend it for learning (because it's not really profound chess) just be love in truth... |

I think that is way more helpful than just playing games. Players adopt bad tactics and tend to repeat those faulty ideas under pressure. Mrs Lady Pants User ID: 46699982 United States 02/26/2021 10:05 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I'm sorry but I think I'm giving up online chess completely. Cheating is way too common in online chess whether people like to admit it or not, and it ruins the game. This has become very obvious to me over time though I used to be somewhat in denial of this fact it is very apparent. Most of the players you may believe to be playing at a sophisticated level online will actually play very sadly without an engine on. Usually in real life games follow a very natural rhythm or pattern and online very few games tend to follow such a rhythm that is comparable to human play, because many people online are habitual engine users. This is a fact and so I resign from online chess and will only play in person to continue to enjoy the game. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 70565115 Try 1-0 chess...pretty hard to 'cheat'...fuck I just got whooped in my last bunch of games. SPeed chess is where it is at...not classical.
