Yes but why didn't they excavate to prove it with the whole world watching, big tourist attraction? My 2 issues are how many 515' boat shaped objects with hundreds of rivets are on Mt Ararat? The other is Noah didn't build a boat going nowhere he built a space efficient barn.

Rethink the flood.
1. The current sea level is not the same as then. The earth was encapsulated in a heavenly water canopy the came down along with under ground aquifers coming up.
2. The height of mountains is unknown but crustations are found 28,000' up on the Himalayas which was seabed.
3. Water drained back down refilling the aquifers. Guess where the water from the canopy is now, remember the poles were green and temperate well populated with animals.

You must remember that the entire foundation of the Catholic church was built upon the "discovery" of relics such as this. And it all began when Emperor Constantine I sent his pushy Mother Helena [Flavia Julia Helena] to find them in the holy land from 326-328AD.

He did this because -although he didn't become a Christian until on his deathbed- he quickly recognized the advantages of having such a rebellious and popular new sect on his side as he steered Rome from a polytheistic structure to the worship of a single Diety.
It was a purely political move and nothing more. But in the process he began the decline that would eventually cause the total fall of the Roman empire as citizens all across the lands literally lost all faith -and respect- for Rome itself. It wasn't corruption or depravity that caused the fall of Rome kiddies, it was CHRISTIANITY!

And his demented but loyal Momma didn't disappoint~~~

Helena not only "found" the stable where Jesus was born, but also all THREE crosses from Jesus' crucifixion, his crown of thorns, the robe he wore on the way to Golgotha, the nails used and even the rope used to tie his hands... all just waiting to be miraculously found by her 300 YEARS LATER!

And, to make sure everyone knew about it, she immediately built shrines/temples there; it was SHE who built the Church of the Nativity [the site of Jesus' birth] and the Church of Eleona on the Mount of Olives- where she claimed Jesus ascended into heaven. BOTH churches still stand today and are still accepted as fact, based entirely upon Helena's outright fabrications. Sonny-boy Constantine I later upped the ante and built a third church - The Church of the Holy Sepulchre- on Helen's precise location of Jesus' crucifixion. Accent on FICTION!

Then, emboldened by her booty she took the lies even further when she claimed to have found the EXACT SPOT of Moses' famous "burning bush" and she built a church on Mount Sinai to prove it... and St. Catharine's Monastery is still there - but nowhere nearly the tourist attractions her other three churches in Bethlehem and Jerusalem immediately became.

And the entire thing was a SCAM from day one.

Even so, today there are no less than 100 slivers of that "true cross" -and its nails- scattered in Catholic churches all around the world, and the original-authentic-one-and-only crown of thorns rests in a golden case in Notre Dame in Paris... where it was the FIRST thing hustled out of that building when it caught fire a few years ago. Jesus' robe and rope are still around too, enshrined in the Stavrovouni Monastery on Cyprus... which was also built by Helena.

Faith dies hard. Especially since the definition of faith is "the belief in something that cannot be proven."

Incidentally, Dr. Robert Ballard -discoverer of the TITANIC- [whom I've met] claims he too discovered remnants of Egyptian chariots in the Red sea. But instead of Moses' famous parting of those waters he has a far more scholarly version: that there once existed a slightly submerged land bridge linking the two shorelines which at low tide was passable. But the Biblical fable makes for a much more compelling morality tale, now doesn't it?

I doubt if the flood was 1000'but, there's nothing to accurately guess by so....

Since your flag suggests you hail from the Czech Republic -which itself was once a part of the Roman Empire- I'm sure you're aware of the "holy relics" kept in churches there, notably a piece of a crucifixion nail in the Milevsko monastery, and while not a true relic let's not forget the "holy infant of Prague". But due to COVID-19 you cannot currently see that little chunk of nail; when they open up those doors again you can take a tour for only 100 Euros. You can see the "holy infant" free, but a dandy little statue of it will cost you plenty of CZK in the gift shop... which IS open!

And for a real adventure in relic-hunting go to nearby Germany where at Acchen you'll be thrilled by:

1. the virgin Mary's actual cloak,
2. the swaddling clothes Jesus wore in his manger,
3. the loin cloth Jesus wore on the cross, and
4. the cloth where John the Baptist's head lay after it was lopped off.

And the BEST part is that it'll only cost you 5,000 Euros for a guided tour. Prayers are free.

SEE? Some salvation comes pretty cheaply!
