Lived on a suburb of Toronto called Scarborough when I was much younger. Went jogging one morning just before dawn. Stopped near a van in a parking lot to tie my laces and when I straighten up and turn to continue running, I stopped cold.

There was a 500lb+ orange and black Bengal Tiger sitting there about 6-8 feet away.

Turns out that the tiddybar called Caddys had Jane Jones exotic circus as a feature the night before and a trainer, not knowing that I was a few feet away, had let this tiger out of the van while I was tying my shoe.

Fact: Tigers like to run on leashes in parking lots at 5:30am.
