It was the size of a steer and doing a leisurely 40 mph through the woods. That thing could have taken down a full grown bear for a snack. Would he be smart enough to run from a honey-badger? Dunno. May have been a phantom cat, to me it seemed too big to be "real" what ever to fuck that is these days. But now that you mention it I did see a badger once that could have given it a run for the money. Alt world is still with us in thems woods. I've come to the conclusion that some areas are uninhabited for damn good reasons. |

A guy, obviously seriously stoned, was walking slowly but in a straight line down the street...totally naked from the waist down, barefoot. He was walking directly toward the oncoming trolley. The driver slowed to a stop and rang his bell several times. The stoned guy was totally oblivious. He walked directly into the front of the tram like he could not see it in front of him. He stopped, startled, took one step to the left and continued his slow, straight walk. I said to my buddy, "Hey, Larry, let's follow him". He asked why. I said, "I want to see what happens when he gets to the canal". Larry declined and we ordered more beer. |

I used to own a pub, and every now and again I would catch a glimpse of a guy in his late 40's walk by with one of those shits that lumberjacks wear, I could describe what he was wearing (on the top half) and his face I asked my business partner if she ever noticed, she said yes. One day one of the previous and original owner of the pub (whom I knew nothing about and had never met) came around to see how we were doing, and I told him about it, and he said that it sounded like his dad, who died while putting up the pub sign outside (fell of the ladders) Last Edited by IwasHere4theCoronaScare on 02/22/2021 02:03 AM Not Turkish, Not muslim ... |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 66510547 Canada 02/22/2021 02:13 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Out in northern Utah, fishing late one night with the folks. We were on the north side of the lake facing south, it's pitch black out - no moon, nothing. (I think we MAY have been out there illegally, but I'm not sure...) Quoting: Scios My dad calls me over and says, "Watch the skies to the south - about two fingers above the horizon." I watch for a few minutes, not sure what I'm looking for. Suddenly he says, "There - see it?" and points off the left. I see a light sitting there, kind of blends in with the stars (a little brighter, but not ridiculously so) at first, so I'm not getting what he's looking at. All of a sudden it just blinks out. Doesn't twinkle/fade. Just goes out. About 2 seconds later, he points off to the right and says, "Over there now" so I shift and I'm looking at bunch of stars when one of them blinks off. After a few times of this, I get my eyes used to looking at large patches of the sky rather than trying to focus on one point in the sky - at this point we're both tracking this light that comes on, sits perfectly still in one spot for about 10 seconds, then blinks off only to reappear somewhere else about 5 seconds later. We watched this go on for about a half hour before it finally just blinked off and was gone. Over the years, we'd talk about it from time to time but we never did come up with anything that made sense. They won't even look. WEIRD I’ve done this over a hundred times and get a response just by asking them to flash and it happens just as he explains it. You ask telepathically/ politely to flash and you get a response just like a light bulb going on and off. Then it moves in the same direction and you ask again and flash it goes off again. I got it to do it 7 times in a row one time. But the power ups got dimmer each time because it was losing its energy. Between 1am and 3 am is the best time to do it. |

As I passed a parking area behind an apartment complex there looked to be around 50 cats in a half circle, all facing a cat sitting on a higher place. They looked at each other absolutely dumbfounded and as I was already thinking "Ops, what have I done!" they told me that they were fellow members. And this happened here in Bulgaria of all places! Midnight Oil User ID: 79322478 United States 02/22/2021 02:54 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I was sitting on a hill overlooking Muskogee, Oklahoma years ago. Stone cold sober. Just listening to Journey---Lights. Nothing bothering me. No illnesses. Healthy as a horse. Quoting: ChucklesWinchester I had sat out their on that hill a hundred times. Just south of town on US 69. Watched sunrises and sunsets with girls, friends, brothers, and even a curious county sheriff. This was a place where I felt safe. The radio went screwy. I sat up. And a shadowy figures was standing just outside the glow of my running lights. I didn't have the headlights on. I jumped off the hood. My heart racing in my chest. I said, "Hello". Suddenly the figure ran at me. I put my hands ready to fight and just ran right through me. That night, I had a crazy dream about the collapse of the USA, war, and other things that are slowly coming to pass. For years, I have had strange dreams including dreams that all hell breaks loose after the death of Clint Eastwood. He, of course, isn't he cause, just the temporal marker. I don't what the hell that thing was, but it sparked an interest in friend of mine who is now a noteworthy author and paranormal investigator. I have never seen the shadow figure since. But, a few weeks back. I saw a being of light in what felt like a waking dream as I lay in bed. I would call it an angel because it had something akin to wings. Crazy stuff. That said, I did box and I have taken my fair share of blows to my melon. clint eastwood is 90 ACTS 3:21 |

Quoting: LaGata I was driving down the interstate and I saw a tall flatbed truck literally stuffed top to bottom with live chickens. It had chicken wire all around it and the poor animals were terrified climbing all over each other and struggling. It was not covered up, anyone driving by could see this. Most certainly heading for a slaughterhouse. I could not drive after that, had to pull over and take a minute. It gave me a horrible feeling. And I'm an EMT, I have seen some seriously awful shit. But if you live in that America, you see weird shit every day. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 22482927 Any weird stories? Cheers. It was about twenty years ago. I was 17. I was in my parents hot tub outside staring at the stars for 6 hours straight. It was cold. It was beautiful. Nothing was happening in the sky. I was staring at one small cluster of stars in particular. My eyes didn't move for six hours. Around 3am... I start to get emotional. I start talking to God for the very first time, out loud. I was not religious. I did not believe in God. Tears are streaming down my face as I speak and I said something similar to this... "God, I hate my life. My family doesn't love me. I have no friends. I feel alone on this planet and I don't want to do this anymore. I want the pain to end. I don't want to be alive anymore... But, if you would give me a sign that you were listening to me... I think I could feel better and realize everything will be okay..." Now... What happened next is the weirdest thing I ever saw. Literally one second after I finished talking... At EXACTLY the spot I was staring at for six hours... There began a meteor shower where I saw 200-300 shooing stars over like a minute. The meteors made me feel euphoric. It felt like drugs. It felt like I was being shot with bullets... Except the bullets were like a crazy drug rush. Once it was over... I was kind of in awe... A little scared... All that stuff youd expect to feel if you met God. After thinking about this day for twenty years, I can assume one of three things happened. _____________________________________ 1) it was God 2) it was not God. It just randomly happened exactly to the second I needed a miracle to not want to die. 3) it was not God. It was a hallucination. During times of extreme emotions your body can produce hallucinations. _____________________________________ My thoughts. I think choice #2 is definitely wrong. I'm convinced I saw it because I asked for a miracle. I lean toward choice #3 being the correct answer(but not completely convinced). My experiences with LSD have shown me just how much what we perceive can be modified by our brain chemistry. I was an absolute emotional wreck that day long so. This coupled with my losing all faith in humanity in recent years... God is not here. This world is godless. The Great Leonid Meteor Shower of 2001? [link to www.norfolkastronomical.org] |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80068764 It was looking right at me from behind some bushes only 20 feet away. I was fishing on the shore of a small pond in the mountains of Washington state. My Aunt and Uncle didn't see anything but I sure the hell did! Later I went back to the spot where it was and an entire tree stump was shredded. He was probably eating grubs when I walked up with my fishing pole. Only big holes left in the moss where it was standing. No discernable footprint shapes but they were huge imprints all around. I know none of you will believe me but I don't give a flying fuck. One was at my place in 2011. It caught a wild rabbit and bit it in half with one bite, left half the carcass on my front lawn. There were spiritual manifestations in my home the night before. True story, and I have photos. |
