Tarnished Halo User ID: 78322105 United States 05/29/2022 06:52 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | My youngest brother died this afternoon. Quoting: Lady Jane Smith He went into the hospital, was placed on a vent, was running a temp. Did several COVID tests that all came back negative, but then he developed several blood clots in his lungs. Doctors removed one, but then others began appearing. His oxygen level was down to 26 when his wife, a nurse, agreed to remove the vent. We don't know if it was that odd strain of COVID that does not show positive on the tests, or a consequence of the vaccine. He took the J&J. To me, the fever indicates an infection, I don't thin blood clots cause fever? He was a sweet, fun, lovable bear of a guy. Can't believe he is gone. This is a different brother than the one who caught COVID early on, and nearly died. That was the older one. Oh no! I am so sorry. People suck. |
MaximusRex User ID: 79476411 United States 05/29/2022 07:45 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Well it took 2 years and Covid finally found me during a visit to a conference in Dallas this past week. Everyone on my team came up positive as well. I'm not gonna lie-- it was surprisingly pretty intense and impactful at times. I reached 102F, felt delirious, and then 2-3 hours later I was outside working. Sore throat from hell (ear and sinus aches), barking cough at times that made my chest painful to the touch. With that said, 72 hours of dealing with this, and the seasonal flu seemed way more debilitating. Everyone on my team deal with the same cyclical intensity as well. But I can definitely see how if you have underlying conditions, this could take your out pretty fast. I had some concerns yesterday at one point, but staying on top of vitamins, elderberry, Emergen-C, OTC meds seems to keep it capped. Again, Im sure there are exceptions, but just sharing my experience. Oh and I'm vaxed along with everyone on my team. |

Friday: sore throat/fatigue. thought it was allergies Saturday: throat on FIRE, fatigue, snotty, insomnia. I decided to do a home test. Faint positive line, but still isolated Sunday: throat still hurts, fatigue and dull headache. tested again this morning and test line was dark positive. UGH Interestingly, my temp hasn't gone above 99.4, cough is only if I snort in some snot. Body aches are from laying in the bed because I'm trying to do right and stay in one room of the house. Here is my daily vitamin regimen: Zinc Fish oil Vitamin C Ashwaghanda CLA Magnesium Calcium Vitamin D Pepcid Melatonin Now I've added: NAC Curcurmin Quercetin Of course I treat the symptoms which so far I've taken tylenol, ibuprofen and benadryl. I'll take a muscle relaxer tonight because covid insomnia is no joke. Now that I know I have it I can 100% say I had it in Jan 2020 except then I lost taste and smell. The insomnia is unlike anything I've ever experienced before. Usually when I'm this sick I sleep all the time. Nope, just lay here wide awake like a turd trying to find the end of Discovery +. Y'all stay safe out there! People suck. |
