CC i agree with your thinking but not the #'s. where do i begin? 40% of Americans don't work. many of those "out" are children or college students. and elderly retired don't count as working either.

but i see your theory that more bad consequences are going to happen as we go forward if this continues. we already see 1, ppl that are infected are allowed to work to keep the ship afloat. this just leads to more spread.

by now we have seen this virus is a very slow burn doom.a week or 2 before hitting a wall due to less workers would b several months under the slow burn of covid. that is easily spring. as to the mths to see the long covid effects, we have 2 yrs of that now. and we have huge worker shortages.

we can fix it quickly. learn Chinease and bring in AI. no, i don't have a better solution for the world the way things have gone for this decade. too much was bet on globalism. knock CHINA and INDIA offline, world is screwed. most countries can not produce enuf of anything to stay afloat. we will run out of food, fuel, or parts.

hard to say what will happen when. we have no leadership in the US. they bet all on vax. with that failing they have no plan. even the slow die off plan has issues. it is speeding up. if it speeds up and ppl wake up, govern will lose control. at the moment they have made themselves look like fools. and media is slowing realizing it.
