Feeling a bit better.

Perhaps the GLP protocol is the bomb?

Perhaps I have a mild case?

Perhaps both?

Hopefully, this will be the outcome worldwide. “Omicron, with its extraordinary, unprecedented degree of efficiency of transmissibility, will, ultimately, find just about everybody,” worldwide. 7.9 billion souls will be exposed to Omicron, wave after wave.

mice? We have to face a reality here. Homo sapiens are not in control, they never were. We can maybe tilt the outcome a little, but that is all.

Jazz, we are not "owned by China". We are, however, going to be inundated by wave upon wave lasting years of the Omicron virus and its variants. The entire world is going to suffer wave after wave of Covid.

It's not going to "magically" "disappear". We are all as a world going to have to understand this was all caused by an accidental suicidal mouse, or rodents escaping somewhere.

Home-sapiens no longer have control over our destiny. It's caused by mice or rodents in general.

No hidden human powers that we may think we possess are going to to help us. The survival of the human race is going to be dependent on luck and rodents.

What if it was from rodents or animals? They are pernicious. Omicron came from an animal host and jumped back into to humans. Mice. Camels. Goats.????

Maybe this should be it's own thread, but it's late and I don't want to deal with trolls all night.

I can't be the only one, but I'm having a hard time recognizing our country. I skim through the main forum, read some of the threads and I don't know these people. They say they're Americans, but they sure don't sound like it. They haven't a clue of how things are supposed to work and if they do, they don't want to do the heavy lifting to try to make things right. They would rather have a foreign entity take over or destroy us. I know some are trolls, but not all of them. I hear similar things from people in real life, too.

I'm not asking for an explanation on when and how this happened. I have a good idea. I'm just frustrated today with it all, the lack of understanding history, the disrespect of most anything/anyone, the carelessness for our way of life. It makes me question why I gave up what I did for these people. Are they people? Sometimes I wonder about a few of them.

I am in NO way saying our country is perfect, no one can claim that. What I will say, after living for several years in other countries/places, is this is still the most free country on Earth. Maybe not for long, though. Not when there are people willing to let someone with different ideas and values take charge. Enemies, both foreign and domestic. Are there still Americans out there that can discern the difference today? Is there anyone out there brave enough to say the emperor has no clothes? Do we deserve another George Washington? Idk.

Rant off.

Re: Sars Cov 2 … the grinder continues to eat away at resources and humanity.
it doesn't. u are right in that. the ideals and principals that our forefathers stood for are shattered. it has gone from a melting pot where ppl can b different and live together peacefully to "b like me or else." corruption and greed has infected it from the top down to the local levels. even kid clubs,PTA's, local commerce, fire depts have been found corrupted.

sadly it is too far gone to b saved. the 2nd A has been stripped of its meaning and bite. the govern no longer fears the ppl cause the ppl have no weapons of strength. we have bb guns compared to the missles and bombs of today.

once the FED learned they could control the states with funding any game could b rigged. so even " we the ppl" has been stripped of its meaning in the Constitution. enuf has been stripped over time that in actuality the Constitution has no meaning in today's world. freedom of religion has been changed to either u have none or u obey if u want to have a business.

many years ago i heard a radio broadcast similar to Paul Harvey. thought it was after he had died. was bout our bicentennial. and how and why govern's fail. we being 200 yrs + are way past due to fail. why? once all the favors are owed out, nothing gets done. there are no favors left to bargain new bills with.

we are at this point. look at Congress how at the last min. they pump pig projects in to get even any agreement thru. otherwise they talk a lot but do nothing to actually help the ppl or to better the nation. Congress spends more time on vacation and campaigning then working. this is not how our forerfathers intended things.

now the country is bankrupt. more ppl work for the govern than the private sector. add to that BEFORE THE LAST RECESSION we crossed a very bad line- # of workers in service surpassed those in production and manufacturing. instead of adding to the nations wealth it just spins in a circle. to put that plainly, a $1 dollar bill is no longer being used to create more $$. as in build something. it is being taxed as it is handed from 1 service worker to the next. as soon as it is taxed, there is no $1 dollar bill to actually give to the next. this is when QE govern funding steps in. they bail water but the ship is sinking faster.

the nation u were told about in school is long gone. it is an idea of what once was. pay your taxes or else but otherwise we don't have a country. we don't even have borders.

ours is the last generation with any chance to undo and correct things. the next has been dumbed down and twisted into the greed too far. they live on the handouts and have no memory of life where we did have more freedoms and ppl were neighborly.

to save it power must return to the local level. FED has to b limited to military and protecting the borders. states will control trade between states. pay for politicians must b limited to a % of the working class of their districts. not the govern workers but those who do produce. getting the control back to a local level where the leaders live with the ppl they work for will force them to work for those ppl. corrutpion will not b tolerated.

u are correct that we need a great leader to even try to gain back our power. how quickly would they b killed? hence nobody wants the job. srry but i do not think it will happen. we are past that now. TRUMP was the last hope. as i said before he was elected. he is just 1 man, but i wished him well. i think a CW/ revolt will occur. it won't b a CW where half fight the other half. the country will split into many pieces. the war will go on for a decade at least. freedom isn't cheap. nor easy. getting control away from the corporations and elites will cost many lives and luxuries. TPTB know this and walk a right rope, giving pl just enuf that they don't rise up in unison.

Even going down to the local level won't help now, Jazz. They're just as corrupt, with the exception of a few. The disease goes SO far back. I just thought of something my parents used to say when they didn't have anyone they wanted to vote for. They'd say "Better the devil you know, than the devil you don't know.". Bad is bad. I could never get them to see it that way. They were fine as long as they did their "duty" and voted. Their generation was the last one I know of that voted straight party ticket. Crazy!!

Sorry I've derailed the thread again. It's just so many seem to be happy with the idea of going to war, as long as they don't have to do it. All the people that seem to think there is no virus and we're all a bunch of dumbsh*ts for believing there is and it's dangerous. I get it that people are tired of it all, so am I, but that doesn't change what is. I wish it did.

I read all these people here that think they're "woke". Some of them couldn't be MORE clueless about their own surroundings. It isn't even about us against them. It's us against us. We're our own worst enemy! Maybe, except for the children, we deserve what's coming soon.

It looks like the virus mutations...variants(maybe the results of side effects from the shots).... and possible engineered new bioweapons for depopulation will continue and continuous shots will be futile. I refuse the poison shots and will maintain Ivermectin....Fenbendazole if needed.....supplements to include Zinc...vitamin C and D....Oil of Oregano gel caps...colloidal silver and anything else I can think of to fight virus's and boost my immune system. Any other suggestions for the future?

Learn how to make colloidal silver
Stay away from all the snake oil salesmen. Very few of them have any idea what they’re making and selling. There is no need to buy any particular thing from any specific supplier. Here is a source of authentic, well-reviewed, accepted information with no commercial activity allowed:

Wouldn't it be smart to check out what's needed and how to make it ... while the economy's wheels are still rolling, and you can still get items from the brown truck of happiness? Hmmm.

Sigh. Good thing I have self control. Everyone in public is gonna catch it this round. Fuck.

And I will wait to see if we get a lull before ordering. I don’t care if we can’t get anything else. We have enough to be just fine for a long damn time.

Although, I might only have enough deodorant left for 9 months. Blah. There are worse issues. I did manage to get enough razors in to cover eons.

I have plenty of self control, too -- oodles of it, when it comes to self isolating, but there are a lot of factors that are totally outside my control. My mom's estate needs handling now, due to a reverse mortgage that requires I have her house cleared out and ready to sell and listed 5 months from today. Death certificates and ID have to be presented in person to the banks, and maybe other agencies, too. I will need movers for the stuff I'm wanting to keep, a storage unit, and haulers for the remainder. All of this is going to require me to have some contact with others, as I simply can't clear a 4 bedroom home by myself. I can't even lift most of the funiture I want, as it is solid walnut.

My roommate had no option but to go back to work in person, since nobody is locking down around here.

I'm not coming down on you, CC -- I am glad you are in a situation where you really can hunker down and be no-contact. I'm just pointing out that some of us don't have that option, and that is isn't for lack of self-control.
 Quoting: Doommonkey

Those are all valid things. I am sorry that I wasn’t specific.

Once it was obvious that everyone was getting this - restaurant eating, normal capacity shopping, theaters, stuff that has absolutely nothing to do with real needs should have been avoid.

This is true self control. Although, I definitely would consider putting off the move until the wave has at least dropped to a stable high.
 Quoting: CleverCreator

I think your post hit a raw nerve, CC, because I have a lot of those right now. I'm truly upset that I find myself in this situation when the pandemic has reached a fever pitch of insanity and rampant contagion.

After isolating almost entirely since the beginning of 2020, I suddenly find myself thrown into having to interact with a lot of people (who interact with a lot of people,) and it scares the hell out of me.

I literally can't put this off. I'm not moving -- I'm closing out my mom's estate, and that requires closing her bank accounts in person, and readying her house for sale. These things need to be done in a very timely fashion. I spent the first month too deep in grief to do anything, which leaves me 5 months to get everything done -- and it is a lot to do while also working full time. I need to clear out her house. I need to move the things I'm keeping, and have everything else hauled away, and have the house fixed up enough to list -- in 5 months. The mortuary, the banking business, some of the house business, all needs to be done in person, to prove I am who I say I am. Some of the banking transactions require multiple visits to the bank, too.

The reverse mortgage people are not flexible in their deadlines, so there is no option but to do this, and to do it now. It's the worst possible timing to be facing something like this, because I don't want to call on friends for help, and expose myself to even more people.

I've already pushed my body about as far as it can go, with all the stress and lack of sleep over the last few months -- and now I have a huge mountain of work to accomplish in a very short time.

As careful as I've been, this almost guarantees I'm going to catch Omicron, and I don't even want to think about what that will do to me in the shape I'm currently in.

So, my personal drama aside, I wanted to make the point that not everyone is in a position to hunker down through all the madness ... I'm glad for the ones who are, but the world is going to continue doing what it does, because there are no pauses, no lockdowns, no grace periods anymore. People are being forced to go back to their jobs, to schools, etc., despite the risks. It's a complete disaster.

It upsets me a great deal to see so many people getting sick, and to think about how many of those people will have serious long term problems afterward.

Sure, some people are going about their lives as if nothing is wrong and getting sick because of that --- but a lot are only doing what is actually required of them, and they are also getting sick.
Looks like freedom but it feels like death. It's something in between I guess... it's closing time.

Dm, it was hard enough to take care of all that when my mom passed. As much as my brother and I don't always get along, I'm grateful he was there to take care of the paperwork side of things. I took care of mom and he took care of her things when it was over. I'm sorry you don't have that. Is there any family close by at all? Even one person is a huge help.

The most important thing I could say to you is try really hard to NOT stress yourself out. It's really hard, but it'll wear you down faster than anything. Just stay task focused and one thing at a time, as much as possible. Don't let memories overwhelm you as you clear out the house. Do that after you're done and you're unpacking things at your house. Then, you have the time to remember and smile or grieve. Block it out as much as you can right now. Know that you WILL give yourself time when everything is done. All the time in the world.

Take all the precautions possible, but you're right. You don't have a choice. Try to find helpers that will take your concerns seriously. They're out there, I'm sure. Check your pm's in a couple of minutes. hugs

Idk.

Rant off.

I have been feeling this way for a while, and it keeps getting weirder and worse. I don't generally read the main forum, unless a headline catches my eye (and then I go to the source.) I almost never post out there. That said, I know what you mean, because I don't need the main forum to see what seems to be happening.

I don't recognize our country, either.

Well, there's hope there. If I am going a bit crazy, I'm not alone! LoL I almost deleted all of that. I get a bit triggered out on the main, sometimes. I don't think I'm crazy, but I don't think all of them are sane, either.

It's definitely a time of great change. It remains to be seen if it will end well or not. I'm leaning towards not right now.

I'm not going to continue quoting that huge post/response. I always seem to mess up the html when I try to shorten them.

Unfortunately, no -- there is nobody else. I had/have to take care of everything. I have an unofficial step-sister
(parents never married, but we blended families for a number of years.) She is doing a little of the legwork, like looking for movers, etc. I think I am going to use the broker she used when she sold her father's house. But, legally, everything has to be done by me.

Her offers of help are somewhat useful, but she is doing a lot of telling me what to do, and acting as if my process is going to be the same as hers was when she handled her father's estate. It's a totally different situation, as she wasn't there when her father was ill, nor when he died. Plus, his house had already been cleared out and was being rented when they decided to sell it, so all she had to do was make a few phone calls

She's also healthy, and assures me that "Omicron is mild" so I shouldn't be worried about it. She's utterly clueless as to what it means to be immunocompromised, though she might be starting to get an inkling of it, as I am being quite vocal on the matter.

Telling her that I managed to get staph infections on both arms last month from some minor scratch/bug bite/something kinda got her attention. That's in addition to the systemic yeast flareup, and the recurent UTIs that I have had for months.

If it isn't time, I don't think I've ever seen a time closer to war than this one. I was too little to remember the Cuban missile crisis. All it will take is one stupid mistake...accidently or on purpose.

I remember the Cuban missile crisis very well.

The major difference between then and now is that JFK was willing to go on television and address the nation.

He had a cold or the flu at the time and looked awful on the tv screen, which in those days for most people was small and black and white rather than color.

His resolve, our resolve as a nation, was made pretty clear; we were NOT going to allow missiles in Cuba, we blockaded Cuba, and it was clear that if the Russians persisted we'd consider their actions a declaration of war.

I think it's important to recognize that if JFK were alive today he'd be considered a fairly to the right Republican instead of a Democrat.

And for the most part I think it's fair to say that as a country we were united behind the actions being taken on our behalf regardless of the consequences.

In short, nothing like what's going on right now. We're in the dark, we're not hearing from our commander in chief, and the msm today runs an agenda rather than accurately reporting on what's really going on.

I can't seem to shorten them either, don't feel bad.

Yikes! You sure don't need a bossy anybody. You are an intelligent woman. You can do this. Honestly, I was surprised at how easy my mom's paperwork was, unlike my mother-in-law's. That mess was really caused by having 3 out of 4 siblings bossing each other around. I'm a little surprised that they all still talk to each other.

Also, if you don't have one already, make sure you have a good lawyer. They will be an amazing amount of help. The bankers should be too. Both made a big difference in getting the estate taken care of as easily as possible. I don't know anything about reverse mortgages, so I can't help there.

I can't think of anything else that might help. You already know to take care of yourself, too. Again, you can only eat an elephant one bite at a time, kiddo. Find your start point and don't let yourself get overwhelmed. I know, easy to say...hard to do.

Been awhile since I’ve searched shortages. Here’s the ones that stuck out to me:

- Teachers
- School Bus Drivers
- Blood
- Brown Glass (beer bottles)
- Grocery (various)

It seems I'm in the middle of a "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore" meltdown.

It's late, I'm tired and tomorrow/today is going to be a long day. Sorry for the rant guys. CC, delete it if you want.

You are loved! Rant on.

Just remember this has a lot to do with a money segment of the population. They knew where they were taking this country and only thought of themselves.

Folks can be bad at the crazies or the instability of people, or the drugs, but that is what a service economy does. It is damn near impossible to keep a service economy and money in their pockets of folks are self actualized and invest in their communities.

My rant off.
