The earth is spinning 28 times faster than the moon orbits it. How is it possible for the eclipse to move from west to east? The article doesn't explain how it's possible, it just dances around the answer by stating random things. If you think the article makes sense then explain it in your own words and remember to answer my question.
Spoilers: You can't
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75012624 the circumference of the orbit of the moon is 1,750,000 miles. 28 day lunar orbit. 24 houes in a day makes the avg speed of the moon in orbit of about 2,600 miles an hour. 28 x that is 72300 miles per hour. the earth spins at about 1000 mph at the equator.... 24,000 mile circumference divided by 24 hours. So, your "debunking" is flawed Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77935050 The moon travels that fast at its circumference, but we're talking about its shadow moving on earth, not its circumference. Did you even watch the video? Even if you did, you obviously didn't understand any of it. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75012624 Watch this, let me know if it helps [ link to svs.gsfc.nasa.gov (secure)] Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77935050 It doesn't help at all. Why didn't they show the moon and sun during the animation? Because none of it is possible. All they showed was a shadow moving across without showing how it happens that way. The entire thing is pointless, just like every other explanation from NASA. And tards like you lap it all up.
