Anonymous Coward User ID: 76396237 Germany 02/23/2021 07:44 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | DNA Inside an Adenovirus Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76396237 The researchers added the gene for the coronavirus spike protein to another virus called an adenovirus. Adenoviruses are common viruses that typically cause colds or flu-like symptoms. The Oxford-AstraZeneca team used a modified version of a chimpanzee adenovirus, known as ChAdOx1. It can enter cells, but it can’t replicate inside them. AZD1222 comes out of decades of research on adenovirus-based vaccines. In July, the first one was approved for general use — a vaccine for Ebola, made by Johnson & Johnson. Advanced clinical trials are underway for other diseases, including H.I.V. and Zika. The Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine for Covid-19 is more rugged than the mRNA vaccines from Pfizer and Moderna. DNA is not as fragile as RNA, and the adenovirus’s tough protein coat helps protect the genetic material inside. As a result, the Oxford vaccine doesn’t have to stay frozen. The vaccine is expected to last for at least six months when refrigerated at 38–46°F (2–8°C). you're all gonna turn into monkeys FFS |

So the punishment meted out by the judicial system has no moral dimension, just a financial one? Clown world. It does make sense though. They need a huge portion of the population to get the vaccine in order to justify the ultimate goal. To have everyone vaxed. Is it sugar water? Who knows. But it’s data they can use. “1 out of a million have adverse reactions” they’ll say. “Now take your vax and stop being a conspiracy theorist”...... |

Mist Walker User ID: 79127210 United States 02/23/2021 10:12 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Plan called off to shorten sentences of Massachusetts prisoners who get COVID vaccine. The governor of Massachusetts has rescinded a plan to shorten the sentences of inmates in the state's prison system for getting COVID-19 vaccinations, officials said Thursday. Gov. Charlie Baker canceled the controversial plan less than a week after state Department of Correction Commissioner Carole Mici said in a memo that inmates could receive "earned good time" credit for getting the shot, writing, "I have determined the vaccine is significantly valuable to rehabilitation." But a spokesperson for the Massachusetts Executive Office of Public Safety and Security told ABC News on Thursday that Baker, a Republican, called off the plan as soon as he was briefed on it. “When the Governor’s office became aware of the memo, the decision was made to rescind it because the memo is not consistent with the Administration’s policies regarding reduced prison terms," the spokesperson said in a statement.
