There's about a 150 mile stretch split evenly along the Colombia/Panamá border that's virtually impassable and very dangerous. It's not like people are lining up down here to make that trek, maybe if your 18-25 and in great shape but certainly not with kids.

I don't mean to sound glib, but child abuse is serious. Identifying it legitimately kind of matters. When you "cry wolf" and sensationalize it, as the OP of this thread (and her supporters) are doing, you're basically contributing to the problem.

Most adults know- and more importantly, respect- this.

But if someone is an ideological fundamentalist, and they've let ideas override their objectivity, they'll believe anything if it SUPPORTS their ideology. They'll say anything if it supports their ideology.
