I think the number reported of how many have had the poison will be undoubtedly lower than said.

It's an enticement method, make people believe a large number of people are having so they follow.

However, I still think enough people have taken it to cause a massive event. Whatever is in it might well cause people to die in the street. Or it might trigger certain emotions such as rage, insanity or mania, which would actually possibly create the conditions for a civil war.

In the film 28 Days Later they used the concept of a rage virus. So perhaps it is something that mutates a certain part of a person to just start attacking or killing others.

I would anticipate much drama from May, June and July onwards.
