Probably less when you factor in all the rural and conservative areas - but almost nobody for example in my entire Facebook feed, except a couple of people support Trump. But they don't seem to be pro Biden as much as anti-Trump. None of them as far as I know, watch the press conferences, goto rallys, etc. Biden doesn't really have the star status that Obama had either. That reminds me of just how screwed-up in the head people of the left are. If cities like San Francisco/Portland/Baltimore were rightwing, if states like Illionis/New York/California were rightwing, if Silicon Valley were rightwing, if academia were rightwing, if corporations and the media were all rightwing, yet everything about those places or things were no different from their real-life liberal versions, I'd have to look down deep and hard about what my conservatism was really all about. That people of the left don't have that same ability is a very telling sign of what their "progressivism" is actually all about. I think most people just equate the problems you are probably thinking about to being a very large city. Conservative areas tend to be rural communities. Liberal tend to be very large metropolitans. Large cities attract homeless, are much more ethnically diverse, rely more on service based businesses and less on manufacturing. |
