Humans, please leave the innocent dogs out of your stinkin politics

I think you are slightly on to something. Starting about 4 years ago I find myself using dogs in metaphor often. I've scratched my head as to why.
For instance, I lived in a rich county that bent over backwards to keep the poor out. Thing is they still financially depend on social systems designed for the poor. So these types will take non criminal, neat, clean, well read, disciplined people and treat them like garbage. I had to pay ridiculous money to a private psychiatrist after community mental health tried to ruin my life. I voluntarily came in for help with anxiety.
Anyhow I told them to ship in some white trash to fill up their system with, same way they ship in their rescue dogs. They all have trophy rescue dogs. I kept saying dog this, dog that about so many situations.
