Who are you even arguing with? Believe it or not, you can eat fish as Christ did. You can eat eggs, peanuts, olive oil on unleavened bread, figs, and any and all fruits and veggies, not to mention grains and beans. Milk, cheese, butter, sour cream for potatoes...where is the lack here? Why would one anyone stand there smiling over the death of an unfortunate creature?

I already eat beef and venison. A Giraffe is simply another food alternative in that class, I would opt for consumption of, if I had the opportunity.

While I think there's some mental illness involved with trophy hunting like this, the funds paid to kill one of these can result in many more of them surviving and being protected. A sad state of affairs, but still much better than allowing them to go extinct.

I have no idea where you are, but I have only met ONE hunter ever who did not eat what he hunted.

I was on a deer lease with a guy who only wanted the horns for trophies. Great! I gutted and skinned his deer, and he gave me the meat.

BTW, I eat the heart, liver, and tongue. Have not figured out how to properly prepare the other organ meats.

I am not a trophy hunter. Yes, it was nice to once get a big buck so that I can have antlers on my wall.

But, I was in it for the meat.

Some folks do not understand the primal instinct that drives hunters and fishermen. Our ancestors, and yours, did not survive the last four ice ages eating roots and berries.
