I hope it's not too much. I'll probably have to let it cool way down before cutting, least it may start to be more like a pull apart.

It's out of the oven. The smell of cheese and bread is crazy good. It looks beautiful while still in the pan. I'm going to turn it out in a minute and snap a pic for CF to make for me to put on here. I'll take one after I cut it open, too.

Now, how's it going to taste? That is the question.....thinkfelix

Hey,
You still owe me that psychic reading or tarot card thing you promised me and never came back.
Remember that?
Still got it?
I’ll take it right now if it’s still ready still.

Thanks

Hmmmm, I don't remember promising an AC a reading....in fact, I'm sure I didn't.

Anyway, I've been meaning to do a reading for myself, but haven't gotten around to it....heh, and I'm all jacked up from baking this bread, harhar, not a good time to do a reading.

I wouldn't do a reading for someone I don't know anyway. Sorry.

Re: Calling all BREAD BAKERS! Calling all BREAD BAKERS!
Boy howdy, this tastes fantastic! Waaay better than any store bought cheese bread. I just finished eating two big slices, with a Sierra Nevada (seasonal) Wanderland Nectarine Ale.....heh, they're super good together....cool2

I'm taken with the crust. It's so delicate and crispy, and when eaten with some of the cheese, it tastes just like the best grilled cheese sammich ever. The crust is really fabulous.

I liberally basted the loaf pan with avocado oil, before putting the loaf in the pan. I'm so lovin' cooking with this avocado oil. Youse guyses should try it in your pans, to see if you might like the crust.....it's like it just blew in from Neptune, it's so special tasting....chuckle

I took a picture, but it does not look like the picture at the site where I followed the recipe from.

I don't know what happened to all the cheese....shrug

I put a crap ton of cheese in it....harhar, I could probably slice into it somewhere else, and there'll be a big glob of cheese. I see I'm going to have to watch my braiding next time.

After CF makes the imgur pic for me I'll post it, but upon opening the loaf, it's not cheese spectacular looking. The bread itself is light and quite nice. It has really nice flavor and melts in the mouth. Pfht, I didn't even put any butter on it. It's good with this nectarine ale.

I'm going to get another slice.....pilot

You should try this recipe I tried. I know it looks complicated, but it's nothing hard to do.

So YEAH, I made this bread in my new Ninja Professional Food Processor, it's about $85 or so after tax. Very worth the money.

It grated all the cheese in a flash, and it's a nice grate size, not too big--

https://imgur.com/hwQUViE

I also made some pico in it this morning, for my lunch tacos. Made that in no time....heh, I was trying to be decorative rolleyes --

https://imgur.com/9nzgiFd

I love pico de gallo, but I don't like making it. Too much chopping of stuffs, so messy. I've chopped so much food in my life....it's like washing dishes, I'm just about over it.

I'm going to very much like this little investment I made....ohyeah

If you're thinking about getting a new food processor, check out this Ninja....heh, it freaking made a loaf of bread! 850 watt engine in it kneaded that bread in no time!....cheer

You see, I didn't get all the layers of cheese in there like I wanted to, but something to improve on ain't no big thing.

The taste is solid, and that's the most important thing.

Omg, I could probably eat half the loaf, if I let myself.....billlaugh

Re: Calling all BREAD BAKERS! Calling all BREAD BAKERS!
I'm making what I'm hoping is going to be a successful loaf of Cheese Bread....I'm newish to yeast and bread dough, and what experience I do have did not come to a good end.

Since I just got myself a Ninja Professional Food Processor w/ Auto-IQ....850 watts of power....I decided to try to make some bread dough in it.

So, right outta the gate, I had good yeast activation. It made a stack of bubbles!--

[imgur] [link to imgur.com (secure)]

Given my lack of experience in these particular things, I let the processor do all the work. Took it all out, all in one mostly cohesive ball, purportedly all ready to rise, and I kneaded it for about 1.5 more minutes.

The thing is, the dough itself, on the surface, isn't smooth like a baby's butt....isn't it supposed to be smooth like a baby's butt?....

This is what it looked like before starting its rise time--

[imgur] [link to imgur.com (secure)]

--and I just checked it, 20 or so minutes in, and it's rising up nicely!.....:cgexcited:

My question is, is it okay that it's not perfectly smooth?

Is it like that because it needed more kneading? Water?

I mean, if that's a sign the bread is going to be tough or something untohiter in the mouth, then I'm going to toss it....or maybe bake it off anyway, without the cheese, and start again tomorrow. I don't want to waste $5 worth of cheese on something that isn't going to be edible.

I've got about a half hour before I need to punch it, so hopefully someone can answer my questions.

Thank you for you help!....hf

I won I don't know how many cooking contests back in the day, including a Blue Ribbon for my Apple Macadamia Nut pie, and I think I'm prouder of myself for making and baking this really wonderful loaf of bread, than all of those accomplishments put together.

I was just about coming out of my skin with excitement while it was baking, harhar.

Yours looks awesome, from start to finish OP!

Here was one of my mistakes. My pastry chef friend said it was because I added to much warm (It's my grandma's recipe for overnight cinnamon rolls)

https://imgur.com/xDYLe2R

It looked/smelled fine, like always when I put it into the fridge at night, but I woke up to it being scary in there!

It rose too much and then when I did the second rise it was too tired to do a good job and they were kind of flat. It's supposed to do a big second rise so the rolls are super fluffy.

It's all live and learn though. I recently mastered Irish Veda Bread after 4 tries and several recipes. I love the process.

Yeah, back in the day I had no luck with yeast, so I gave up. I was on it this time, purchased a digital thermometer, calibrated it perfectly....and tried to trust myself and it that it was going to work right, but I wanted to make sure I had my water temp correct, before I put my sugar and yeast in.

I was tickled pink to see all the bubbles!
