Our local school district went from being 55% white and 45% black in 1989 to 6% white, 60% hispanic 44% black in 2021.

Most of the demographic shift occurred between 2004 and now. And the whites didnt necessarily move away they just had to switch to private schools.

In that time.. the school went from being ranked in the middle of roughly 1200 NY State public schools... to the bottom 12.

Hispanics take up a TON of resources but rarely add back in a way that is uplifting to the community.

I live in Nicaragua on the border of CR. (My farm is less than half a mile from the border.)

I cannot find machete workers because they are all making money as coyotes for migrants from Africa, Cuba, and Haiti. These migrants pay up to $30k to get yo the US.

Five years ago we had a massive problem with Cuban refugees. Nicaragua, rightly so, wouldn't allow them to enter without documentation. At one point the US government paid millions of dollars to Costa Rican hotels on the Panamanian border go house the migrants there because the CR side of the Nicaraguan border turned into a black plastic shantytown with thousands of angry Africans waiting for permission to cross.

I had to pass military and police checkpoints every time I drove to my land. Checkpoints ended day of Trump's inauguration. We had relatively few checkpoints ( mostly drugs) until the fall. Now they search every bus and car and demand ID from everyone.

I didn't realize how bad it was until I could only find 5 people willing to chop weeds at excellent wages.

FWIW, Nicaraguans are not fleeing to the US. It is mostly Hondurans and Guatamalans from CA and African and Cuban migrants coming via Panama.

We are quickly getting to the point where this country will be better served if armed patriots were in charge of community security. Cops and Border cops won’t do shit and people are dying out there.
