Electric Universe - NASA validated ?

hmmmmm....making somethings possible....i bet the math behind this will change some fundemental laws as we know them..

Maybe NASA isn´t a real institution of science, at least not primarily. Maybe it´s designed as a showcase for pseudo-science to give other nations, other economic competitors a red herring.

The electromagnetic force is not inconsequential. In some circumstances it dominates. However, given the orientation of our poles and the sun's poles and the fact that relatively nonmagnetic objects like Pluto and Mars and all the comets continue to orbit and the fact that the equations for gravity produce precise answers for planetary orbits, I'd bet my eye teeth that its overshadowed by gravity...

If the electrical thing holds, I can tell you the people I know in the bizz haven't gone down the road malitiously.

But you know the models of the univers have changed several times since ancient Greece, there isn't any reason why we could be wrong..

There have been quite a few 'hints' that the popular model is much like Ptolemaic system, where from the prospective of 'earth' it seems to fit, there is a slight ammount of deviation, but when you have the ability to step back it's insanely incorrect.

But I don't think Ptolmy was 'bad' or 'evil', he was just working within the constructs of his time. Hell Einstien didn't have the benifit of any space program.

And of course, I can tell you come back 2-300 years from now, and there will be something else even more exciting...

But that's the way things go, new ideas will always challenge the status quo, and of course people will try to defend their old systems... But change does happen.

The more radical the slower people are to adopt.

I was under the impression that the equations came up short by a fraction...and that they have to adjust the course of a space craft every now and then when traveling fast
distances...maybe I'm mistaken...

I'd say you win, but its pushing back towards the sun and it only started after they reaches heliopause. If I had to guess the interstellar medium is denser than previously thought, or there's something wrong with the equations when applied to weak gravitational fields.

Ok so the Electric Universe certainly does have merit when backed up by the observations of THEMIS and Gravity

There is hope yet...
