I need to vent.

My daughter turns 19 in a couple of weeks. She is in college. I'm paying 100% of her college because my state requires that the non-custodial parent pay.

But why is the mother the "custodial" parent for an adult? Furthermore, why am I paying my ex Child Support when I'm paying for her college, room, board, food, clothes, healthcare costs, and splitting time 50/50 with the ex when my daughter is not in college.

It's criminal and legalized theft.
