I knew a kid in high school back in the 70's, the cops followed him onto the Akwesasne Mohawk reservation and shot out the tires of his car.

When the state trooper approached his car with gun drawn, the boy backed over the cop with his car, and then ran over him again going forward. He was charged with attempted murder, but the ALL INDIAN jury exonerated him with a 12 to 0 acquittal, 6 more than were needed under Mohawk law. The incident caused a lot of animosity among the police and eventually they were banned by law from coming onto the Mohawk reservation..

You see, the mistake the cop made was shooting at him out of his own legal jurisdiction. If he had shot and killed the Indian boy of the reservation, he'd have gotten clean way with it.

The point to this story is right and wrong are not determined by skin color. That Mexican man was not a criminal, he had not a single prison tat on him and no gun.

I'd bet my last fiat dollar the 911 caller was swatting the mexican man.
