I guess I've watched too many episodes of "Forensic Files" to feel comfortable with any of your story! The BACK door too, REALLY? What is his deal?

First of all I wouldn't have approached your property the first time with the No Trespassing signs. I think those are to be taken seriously.

And he lives in his own "development" (i.e. neighborhood), so what's the point of him wandering all the way over to YOU for some chitchat? (or whatever) I could *maybe* justify the first visit and put it down to some sort of Superhuman Neighborliness to welcome you to the area. (Though I would expect that only of closer neighbors)

At that time did he get a contact phone number from either of you? Because I would think if he was looking for work or had some other business with you, that a quick call or text would be more appropriate. Either way, after mentioning it the first time I see absolutely no reason why an electrician would do door-to-door marketing.

And if he was just being friendly, why not visit in the evening when people are more likely to be home? The daytime thing is just creepy. Let me emphasize that, CREEPY.

And just because you've met, I would not assume he's harmless. I would NOT open the door to him if you're alone!

I'm seriously creeped out on your behalf. Yes get more info from the neighbors! It will also put THEM more on the lookout for stuff if they see him creeping around your house, whether you're there or not.

Remember that BTK killer from Oklahoma? His family thought he was normal until they discovered otherwise. He did church stuff, scouting stuff, was a SECURITY SYSTEM INSTALLER.

So, don't let your guard down for any reason.
