Most of us are caught up in a materialistic rendering of a spiritual world.

What does this mean?

It means our inherited conceptual framework, our culture, - the water we swim in – is a materialistic fantasy.

As with all things IT STARTED WITH A DREAM.

The ancients dreamed an indivisible physical thing – ATOM – etymologically a NOT CUTABLE THING. We intellectually know by now that such an indivisible physical thing APART FROM MIND – IS A FANTASY.

The ATOM is a seductive, persistent, omnipresent fantasy that forms the foundation ( materialistic metaphors - bricks in our fantasy wall) of our thought and is not easily overcome. To know this intellectually does little to extract the soul from its grip.

What should we do about it?

Remember, remember - long, long before the 5th of November. Remember the innocent dream before the ATOM dreamers lured us into the fields of wanting.

This innocent dream world is called Spirit, referring by metaphor of the spire. Like all metaphors it should not be taken literally – it is a pointer. It points to the innocent dream above and beyond the atom, above and beyond the fields of wanting.
