Drink water, get at least 3 heavy workouts a week including stretching before and after. 7 calisthenic exercises before whatever you pick.

walk the other days for at least a half hour.
drink more water.
drink more water.

cut out the crap food, don't have it around. find healthy snacks. if you exercise and drink more water you will increase your health. it will speed the healing of the nerve damage.

the path you are on. you might lose an arm or most likely legs. maybe your eyesight.

drink more water.

diets do not work without working it off. if you exercise enough you can eat almost anything that you could as a diabetic. if it is I believe type 2 you can reverse it.

its up to you. how long do you want to be around.

For exercise I walk at least 30 minutes a day with a couple of times a week I walk at least an hour. I also include a 30 minute bike ride and often an hour long bike ride each day.

I used to eat fast food 2 to 3 times a week and that would be a meal with a soda. I have mostly cut that out but maybe one time I week I will do fast food but I just get one item like a burrito with extra meat instead of the whole meal and water or a burger without fries and the soda. I then choose to exercise afterwords with the intent of using my muscles to absorb the glucose directly instead of allowing my blood sugar to spike.

And for meals around the house I have lowered my portion size and I include a nice size salad or veggies to help fill me up so that I won't feel hungry.

After a few weeks of this I have noticed that I have been dropping weight, my back pain has been drastically reduced and my joints feel better and the old dip stick seems to be working better.
