I think most people assume everything will return to 'normal', but I have a weird feeling it won't, & it seems you sense this as well

It was a real prophetic account for its time. In the 19th century or so, people started reading it as fortune-telling, as opposed to prophecy. Most people no longer know the difference between the two. prophecy, for the most part, is not future-telling; it's an indictment of the culture whence it emerges.

As far as "end times" us concerned, we have been through the end times of the Piscean age, and we are in the dawning of the Aquarian age. It will be consistently chaotic for a while (realize a "while" could be 20 years). It is unrealistic to expect a return to an old "normal;" rather, it will be both challenging and interesting to see what becomes "normal" in the new age, once the desperate old guard dies off and ceases stirring chaos to try to maintain their control.

Jesus was anointed as Messiah in AD27, He said the time was fulfilled. He arrived 4,000 years after Adam fell into sin, Adam was probably 30-40 years old (age of accountability - Jesus was 30 when He began His ministry).

We are close to AD2027. So... look for anything deceptive to happen. Oh wait, there's "Covid".

We are HERE. We will see what the OT prophets & NT apostles wrote about & longed to see.

And we ARE going to see it and wish like fuck we were NOT seeing it.

Hi. What they wanted to see was the return of Jesus Christ even though they knew the dire times that would precede it. That's what I was talking about, that's why things are getting so bad. We're heading into Mark of the Beast & then Jesus returns.

Yeah...Jesus will finally wrap up this shitshow and throw the evil bastards in the rubbish where they belong.
