I wish someone would tell him that Sante Fe College in Gainesville has gone off the rails with this stuff and that so much state funding is paying for this - especially all those dual enrolled students that are still in High School.

My son started early College in the fall and we withdrew because its non-stop floor to ceiling indoctrination and in the case of one of his classes, I believe even a hostile environment as the "Professor" kept writing "too vague" on his writing assignments when he did not want to take the bait of the bad white man narrative in his response to the prompts.

I found the writing prompts so suspicious as to wonder if they were creating a data base on all these kids for profiling purposes. One of the testing programs they utilized required the kids to film their rooms! Seriously pan the room. What the fuck information are they collecting?

The text book used for English 101 - the class that ALL students MUST take to continue their education - the text book was full of nothing but current race/gender/sexuality OP ed type pieces for publications like the New York Times. Seriously, NO traditional literature AT ALL. All of it indoctrinating programming.

I thought we could withdraw him and put him in another section - that is when I discovered THE ENTIRE ENGLISH DEPARTMENT WAS USING THE SAME TEXT.

Ironically when we went through the with draw process the office ladies knew, and were sadly resigned and it was obvious we were not the only ones choosing to leave, or bring complain about the situation to their attention. They seemed beaten down, like yeah - we have no choice.

My point not that this stuff should not be offered at all but if you are going to have only people of color as your authors, make that a class in itself. Its like all curriculum as I had once known it had been replaced with this woke shit.
