This is the reason HEB grocery stores won't challenge you about a mask. This was most likely a power tripping manager...like Mom always said, pick you battles.
Quoting: Gray Man It could have been. Some people who work in stores really take telling people to wear a mask seriously. Our groceries have signs, but they don't say anything to anyone not wearing a mask. They all put up signs saying they couldn't be sued if you caught Covid in their store.
