"Effective immediately, we will discontinue use of the racially-insensitive term ‘Dixie Alley’ – and I call on others in the industry to do the same,” Byron Allen – CEO of Allen Media Group, parent company of The Weather Channel television network – said in a statement.

“We must all work harder to become ONE America,” he added.

Just another step closer to eradicating our Southern culture and history.

The weather channel should consider not warning viewers about Black Ice and white outs.

So....should they start naming tornadoes after black males to make up for "white whiteness"? Would that make it all better, knowing that Cyclone Cecil fucked up a trailer park in hickville usa? Gtfo

This is crazy...

Soon we will not be allowed to use the word "leg" anymore as it is insensitive to people in wheelchairs....

Wasn't there a thread somewhere about not using "mother" or "father" anymore?

How did they pave the way for the denial of your right to use the words "mother" and "father"?

First, make the word "motherf**ker" become common...

Then, gradually replace the word "motherf**ker" with the word "mother" which is already often used in replacement for "motherf**ker"... and there you are!

Who is behind this?
