You are right. All they need to do is to blockade the traffic in and out. It will be a disaster after one week.

We have been through these for so many years. But there are some consequences this time:

Taiwan strait median line won't exist anymore from now on.
We have 80+ billion surplus with China. Now the number will go down sharply
Taiwan businessmen usually got some benefit when they do biz in China or export to China. Those benefits might be lifted.
Same as students want to study in China. We usually have more advantage than local students but this might be gone.

It is an election year, we will see more drama by Nov.
