WELL EVERYTHING I WORKED FOR NOW IS WORTH ABOUT HALF IN THE LAST TEN YEARS, BASICALLY I HAVE NADA. GONNA START DRIVING TWO DAYS A WEEK FOR ESSENTIALS. FEEL LIKE THE OLD LADIES AT WALMART. The only thing inflation is good for is getting rid of debt and people that live on debt they get to inflate much of the debt away.

Those who are responsible get crushed by inflation, your savings get stolen, your salary gets eaten into (inflation faster than your raises), your pension or social security never keeps up.

It is really the largest tax government puts on everyone but they never call it a tax. If it was a legitimate inflation then they would inflate like crypto proof of stake tokens do where everyone who holds X token receives for example 6% annual interest... That type of interest is given to all the holders so its much less realized then the other types where the interest is just given to the government to spend wildly and you pay the brunt on your end and your devalued holdings

Well when the USA had very little debt you could by gas for around $.25 per gallon. Now that we are 20 trillion + in debt gas is around $4 per gallon.

intentional communities (look them up online), better yet, artificial island intentional communities.....no taxes, no laws, only worry is th U.S. Coast Guard seizing your vessel(s) to and from the USA, from what I have heard.

No amount of rioting or protesting will help their cause

The old answer was to open the pioneer and hand out some land to peopleso they can homestead. But the government is far to greedy for that these days. The only other answer is to let the weak starve. I'm kind of okay with that.

I'm no economist. The reason this country has a higher standard of living is because our currency is the standard and because of that we can export our debt easier. We can spend more and cover that spending in currency trades. Think of it this way. If every family on your street had their own currency but they couldn't exchange currency with each other, they could only trade by converting to your family's currency first. You could manipulate that in any number of ways. You would have a completely different economic model than everyone else and even control others.

What this will do will make more countries pull away from us economically and look for other methods of trade. The dollar will tank. Everything will go up in price. There is no reason for any of the current shortages other than 1)China is prepping for war. or 2)selling these commoditized products is fetching more profit other places (lumber, food, PC chips)

Nope, you are exactly correct.
Inflation so massive that the dollar will become completely worthless, wheelbarrows full of dollars to buy a biscuit, that sort of thing.
Silver and gold will become illegal, as will cryptos and guns, of course, unless you are a Soros-approved Communist drone.

Thanks for the pin and the comments. The reason I asked the question "What is going to happen" is because I cannot find any information on a country having this much debt and life being somewhat normal. I looked up Germany during the war, but as bad as it was they got bailed (berlin airlift). I don't think the USA will be bailed out.

My wife and I were going through out preps this weekend and to my surprise we ended up throwing out more than 1/2 of what we had stored - bulging cans of tomatoes, pineapple, bugs in the grains, powdered milk that was yellow and hard, etc. I know prices are rising, but I don't want to restock everything just to have to throw it out down the road. I honestly do not know what to do at this point - so many items are already very difficult to find, and it seems that the USA has turned into a "Democrats/Socialist's Gone Wild 2021" scenario.

Debt is like taking down a nation by its balls.

We have hundreds and even thousands of years of resources, and the value of those resources while in the quadrillions of dollars, actually becomes worth more as we extract and use those resources...

Gross Domestic Product is now behind what we have loaned ourselves, so the efficiency and productivity of using our resources needs to increase...Since the population increases every day, by birth and immigration, we must make sure they have jobs in extracting and bringing these resources to market...

It actually seems absurd to starve while driving our cars across quadrillions of dollars of resources...

Capitalism and greed are the only answer to attaining wealth...

US Debt/GDP ratio is now 130%. My prediction is next year at this time it will be 150%. We are fucked.

the US can print money, so I guess they could sign a 420 Quintillion stimulus package and make everyone billionaires. That would just crash the entire planet's economy, I think...

Yes because we don't have the manufacturing capacity to keep up...We must build more and produce more goods to keep up with the growing population...

Get rid of the EPA would be a good start...They want to save the planet by starving the humans...
